For customers maintaining a PMJDY (Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana) account , Meghlaya Rural Bank offers RuPay PMJDY ATM Debits Cards.

All MRB ATM Cards are enabled for the following

Withdrawal of Cash from any ATM which is RuPay enabled all over the country
Point of Sale (PoS) transactions - You can present your card at Merchant establishments for payment of purchases. To complete a transction swipe your Card at the PoS Terminal presented by a Merchant and key in your secret ATM PIN.
E-Commerce - You can make online purchases and pay bills by entering a combination of ATM Card number, CVV and OTP sent to their registered Mobiles via SMS. Please look for the option py by Debit Card (RuPay)

RuPay is an Indian domestic card scheme conceived and launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It was created to fulfil the Reserve Bank of India’s desire to have a domestic, open loop, and multilateral system of payments in India. In India, 90 per cent of credit card transactions and almost all debit card transactions are domestic; however, the cost of transactions was high due to monopoly of foreign gateways like Visa and Mastercard. RuPay facilitates electronic payment at all Indian banks and financial institutions.
